The primary strength of FiftyForward is its people, working together in a united purpose.
Our mission is to support, champion, and enhance life for those 50 and older. Established in 1956, we are the premier provider of innovative programs and services for older adults and their families.
A powerful leadership team of staff members and community volunteers operate the programs and services under the FiftyForward umbrella. This includes seven lifelong learning centers (two in Williamson County and five in Davidson County; a number which are accredited or undergoing accreditation by the National Institutes of Senior Centers) as well as FiftyForward Supportive Care programs including FiftyForward Fresh/Meals on Wheels and FiftyForward Friends Adult Day Services and numerous volunteer opportunities.
Our most valuable assets are loyal and capable individuals who are committed to older adults and fulfilling our mission. FiftyForward hires and promotes individuals who best meet the requirements of available positions and have the potential for advancement.
FiftyForward has approximately 50 employees and 1,200 volunteers who serve roughly 20,000 individuals and their families each year.
