This event is FiftyForward’s annual signature fundraising event. A popular evening featuring a reception, silent auction and a dinner catered by a local, well known chef. The event highlight is the presentation of the Crowning Achievement Award to community leaders who are generous in the support of FiftyForward and other community causes. A corporate Crowning Achievement Award is also presented to a business in recognition of extraordinary corporate philanthropy.

Located close to historic railroad tracks, FiftyForward Madison Station holds its annual Whistlestop fundraiser in the spring. The celebration is attended by members, community leaders and guests. Following a reception with a silent auction and a sumptuous buffet, the program features a celebrity emcee, top notch musical entertainment, the naming of the center’s Volunteer of the Year and concludes with a live auction.

Music and Memories
This annual popular FiftyForward Martin Center fundraising event has featured musical concerts in a spectrum of styles, including Grand Ole Opry legends, jazz piano, the WannaBeetles, an all-string Nashville Symphony chamber group, Joe Dee Messina, Sweethearts of the Rodeo, the Grascals, Melinda Doolittle and Amy Grant. The evening event features a festive reception at FiftyForward Martin Center before the sell-out show.

Martin Masters Art Show and Sale
This year marks the 21th anniversary of FiftyForward Martin Center. Join us for this popular annual art exposition and sale. The event opens with a sneak preview and special reception on Thursday evening, 5-7:30 PM with wine and hors d’oeuvres. (This is a ticketed event and those attending have the first opportunity to purchase art before the show opens to the public on Friday and Saturday.) Over the past six years, the show has featured more than 40 artists annually with attendance in excess of 600 over the three days. Each year’s show features one well known and respected artist and a sampling of his/her work. Visitors are amazed at the high quality of art displayed by Williamson County artists, including center members.

On the heels of the very successful casino night last year, FiftyForward Donelson Station (108 Donelson Pike, Nashville 37214) will again be hosting a casino night which features several games – blackjack, poker, Texas Hold ’em, craps and slot machines. The event also featured live jazz music and a wonderful reception by The Donelson Café. If you don’t play, you can use your play voucher for prize drawings. FiftyForward J.L. Turner Center goes “old school” Hollywood glam for its first fundraising and friendraising event, An Evening in Old Hollywood, Friday, Sept. 28, 6-9 p.m. to be held at its sister center, FiftyForward Martin Center (906 Heritage Way, Brentwood 37027). Arrive in style on the red carpet, enjoy a catered dinner, silent auction, live music from the 1940s and, of course, dancing.
Proceeds from this event will benefit the programs and services of FiftyForward J. L. Turner Center. Established in 2006, the center serves more than 860 members annually. The FiftyForward J. L. Turner Center has created a strong community of members since its opening in 2006 inside the Bellevue Family YMCA. All YMCA members 50+ are automatically given center membership in order to take advantage of the center’s innovative and engaging programs.
The silent auction will highlight items from Nashville Predators, Batch Nashville, TPAC, The Nashville Ballet, Bongo Java, Nashville Sounds, Cabot Creamery, Loveless Cafe and more! Entertainment will provided by the Larry Mechum Quartet, playing jazz and swing from the 1940s.
