Important Announcement

FiftyForward centers are a great place for folks to gather, learn, and socialize. As we monitor coronavirus developments, we are working diligently to balance the needs of our members as well as potential risks.

Based on input and guidance from experts, we will be making the following changes. Beginning March 16th through April 30th:

  • Center programming and activities will be suspended.
  • Adult Day Services will be suspended.
  • Team members will establish some new ways to reach out.
  • FiftyForward Fresh/Meals on Wheels will continue to operate.

If you know of an older adult in need, please call us Monday-Friday at 615-743-3416. The health/wellbeing of our center members and program participants is paramount in everything we do at FiftyForward.

FiftyForward Madison Station is located in the heart of Madison, Tennessee approximately 11 miles from downtown Nashville. In response to an initial grant from The Memorial Foundation, Madison Station was designed and opened due to a documented community need for a senior center. FiftyForward Madison Station opened in 1996 and serves adults 50+ who primarily reside in Madison, East Nashville, Inglewood, Old Hickory and segments of Goodlettsville and Hendersonville.

Named “station” because of its proximity to the historic railroad station behind it, FiftyForward Madison Station is a bustling center with more than 150 members attending daily.

Information about classes and events is also published in our monthly newsletter, The Whistlestop.

Signature Events

FiftyForward Madison Station’s primary fundraiser is Whistlestop, an evening of merriment and good cheer that benefits our diverse community of more than 800 members. For its 21st annual fundraiser, the “train” will leave the station for a San Antonio-themed event. The evening will include a silent auction, reception, dinner, entertainment, and awards, bringing the Madison and Greater Nashville community together in support of the many programs offered by FiftyForward Madison Station.

Through our center, members gain access to services including transportation to the center and community events, lunches from the Metro Meal Nutrition Program, advocacy and education through FiftyForward Victory Over Crime program, Legal Aide as well as care assessment and access to resources through the FiftyForward Supportive Care Team.

For more information about tickets, sponsorships, or anything else about the special events, please call 615-860-7180.
