As conversations and planning continue concerning reopening businesses, we are listening to our city officials regarding best practices. Our centers remain closed to programs for now, but we are continuing to offer virtual programming continuing to keep our members active and engaged.
We miss our center and program participants very much, but the health and safety of everyone, especially adults over the age of 65, is our top priority.
Although our centers are closed, we continue to provide essential services and resources (especially food) to older adults in our community.
If you know of an older adult in need of assistance, please call our resource line at 615-743-3416. We are here to help.
FiftyForward Madison Station is located in the heart of Madison, Tennessee approximately 11 miles from downtown Nashville. In response to an initial grant from The Memorial Foundation, Madison Station was designed and opened due to a documented community need for a senior center. FiftyForward Madison Station opened in 1996 and serves adults 50+ who primarily reside in Madison, East Nashville, Inglewood, Old Hickory and segments of Goodlettsville and Hendersonville.
Named “station” because of its proximity to the historic railroad station behind it, FiftyForward Madison Station is a bustling center with more than 150 members attending daily.
Information about classes and events is also published in our monthly newsletter, The Whistlestop.
