The primary strength of FiftyForward is its people, working together in a united purpose.
Our mission is to support, champion and enhance life for those 50 and older. Established in 1956, we are the premier provider of innovative programs and services for older adults and their families.
A powerful leadership team of staff, volunteers and community operate under the FiftyForward umbrella to offer what would be 15 smaller nonprofit agencies in other communities. This includes seven lifelong learning centers (two in Williamson County and five in Davidson County; five of which are accredited by the National Institutes of Senior Centers) as well as FiftyForward Supportive Care programs including FiftyForward Fresh/Meals on Wheels and FiftyForward Adult Day Services and numerous volunteer opportunities.
Our most valuable assets are loyal and capable individuals who are committed to older adults and fulfilling our mission. FiftyForward hires and promotes individuals who best meet the requirements of available positions and have the potential for advancement.
FiftyForward has 80 (full-time and part-time) employees and approximately 2,500 volunteers who serve approximately 20,000 individuals and their families annually.
