I discovered FiftyForward in 2018 after retiring, looking for a place to play pool and connect with others. What I found was much more—I made some of the best friends of my life and found renewed purpose. With my family living far away, retirement threatened to leave me without activity or fellowship, but FiftyForward filled that void. I enjoy playing pool daily, joined the Donelson Station Advisory Council, served as president, and started a cornhole club. Social isolation is a major health risk for older adults, but FiftyForward offers a solution—helping thousands, including me, find happiness and well-being. That’s why I’ve included FiftyForward in my estate plans, leaving about 10% as a thank-you for the joy and community I’ve found here and as an investment in an organization dedicated to enriching the lives of others in their golden years.

Monthly Support

Everyday Guardians

When you join Everyday Guardians, you become the steady support an older adult can count on month after month

Across our community, older adults are facing challenges that no one should navigate alone. As an Everyday Guardian, you become a steady presence standing in the gap. You help create the safety, dignity, and protection we all want for ourselves and those we love, especially in a world that can feel unpredictable. Your consistent support provides the kind of care that restores stability, when someone’s life suddenly shifts.

Everyday Guardians are more than donors. They’re protectors who make sure older adults have meals when they cooking is impossible, safe homes when mobility changes, and human connection when isolation sets in. Month after month, you offer a lifeline that transforms fear into security and hardship into hope. Together, Everyday Guardians create a community where older adults know someone is looking out for them.
