FiftyForward was recently selected as a two-year funded partner of United Way of Greater Nashville, securing vital support to further our mission of supporting, championing and enhancing life for those 50 and older.

This partnership will help FiftyForward expand our impact and reach even more older adults and their families across Middle Tennessee.

Currently, FiftyForward annually touches the lives of more than 20,000 individuals – senior adults, children and families. At seven FiftyForward locations across Davidson, Rutherford and Williamson counties, we provides enrichment opportunities for adults 50 and older to remain engaged in living their lives to the fullest.

“From helping the 50-plus community stay active and engaged to providing supportive care services to older adults seeking to live independently, we take our role as a community resource seriously,” said Sallie Hussey, FiftyForward CEO. “This two-year partnership will allow us to have a collective positive impact on the older adults who are our region’s fastest growing demographic.”

Through United Way of Greater Nashville’s 2025-2026 Community Impact Fund, the organization is supporting 184 partners across a 9-county footprint by granting $7.5 million to nonprofit partner agencies serving in at least one of four funding priority areas: Building Strong and Healthy Communities, Helping Kids Learn and Succeed, Breaking the Cycle of Poverty, and/or Meeting Our Neighbors’ Basic Needs.

“We believe strong partnerships are key to building a thriving community,” said UWGN President and CEO Erica Mitchell. “FiftyForward brings deep knowledge, trusted relationships, and a proven commitment to service. We’re proud to invest in their work.”
