Why does FiftyForward need Peer Ambassadors?
FiftyForward needs Peer Ambassadors to help spread the word about Precision Medicine and the All of Us Research Program. We need enthusiastic individuals to join in our journey to educate and excite others about this program. If you want to help change healthcare for generations to come, we would love for you to become a FiftyForward Peer Ambassador.
What would I be doing as a FiftyForward Peer Ambassador?
FiftyForward Peer Ambassadors will work alongside the All of Us Team to help manage marketing materials at FiftyForward centers, attend health fairs and community events to educate and engage older adults, and assist in providing technology help for those wanting to enroll in the All of Us Research Program, among other duties.
What is required of a FiftyForward Peer Ambassador?
FiftyForward Peer Ambassadors are required to join the All of Us Research Program as participants. They must also be at least 50 years of age, be able to assist with basic technology questions with phones and tablets, and be able to demonstrate a knowledge and appreciation of Precision Medicine and the All of Us Research Program. We will provide training and support to help you to feel confident about your understanding of All of Us and about the technology used in the program.
What will I receive as a FiftyForward Peer Ambassador?
You will become One in a Million! You will be a vital part of the FiftyForward All of Us effort to ensure that older adults and Tennesseans are represented in this important research program. You will learn more about your own health and contribute to enhancing the health of our community for years to come. You will also receive a stipend for your anticipated 10 to 20 hour/month contribution as a volunteer Peer Ambassador.
